From Kleinplasie over Piketberg, Van Rhynsdorp, Paarl and Franschhoek.

 After leaving Kleinplasie and Calvinia behind, we traveled to the Piketberg area, doing some wonderful passes on the way where vistas like those below were quite the norm.  Really impressive.  It should be wonderful with yellow canola fields mixed with the traditional green wheat planted here.
We then slept over at Die Ark holiday farm where the friendly owners welcomed us for the second stay we had there.

After Die Ark near Piketberg, we slept over in Van Rhynsdorp's caravan park, which was quite amazing with its own little restaurant and very hot water in its ablution block.  The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the sleep-over.  The picture of Cari where she sports her new "Hantam Kappie" (hat).

Our next stop, Bergrivier Caravan Park near Paarl.  Large campsites with good ablutions next to the river where some anglers did their catch-and-release thing.

Below are the pictures from another good camping spot, De Hollandsche Molen.  Friendly people and good ablutions.  Siyuated between wonderful huge mountains near Franchhoek.
